Abstract:
In Vietnam, Ten species belonging to three genera, namely: Lactoria cornutus Linnaeus,
1758; L. fornasini (Bianconi, 1846); L. diaphana (Bloch & Schneider, 1801); Ostracion
rhinorhynchos Bleeker, 1852; O. nasus Bloch, 1785; O. cubicus Linnaeus, 1758; O.
immaculatus Temminck & Schlegel, 1850; O. meleagris Shaw, 1796; Tetrosomus concatenatus
(Bloch, 1785); T. gibbosus (Linnaeus, 1758) of the family Ostraciidae is currently reported in this paper. Besides, the data of species description, natural history, distribution and identification key of already known species was provided.
